Learning to take care of Man’s Best Friend

Vet Camp, taking place from June 9-13 for students in grades 6-9, offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in the world of veterinary care. Campers will visit zoos and farms, learn how to suture and perform basic first-aid, and participate in dissections. Campers will receive 20 hours of veterinary experience, 10 certified hours of animal interaction, 5 service hours, 5 leadership hours, and a basic animal care certificate. This immersive camp will provide invaluable experience for students interested in animal care and veterinary science. Students will also receive an actionable academic pathway and plan to pursue animal sciences.

What does it look like?

The Camp runs from June 9-13 for students who have completed grades 6-9. The cost is $500 per camper. The camp operates formally from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Students will receive practical training as well as a planned academic path moving through high school.
