Get a head start in medicine.

Dr. Stacey Wolfe, Chair of Neurosurgery at Atrium Health/Wake Forest Baptist encourages students to, “Get a head start in medicine”. This program offers insights into medical career paths, helping participants connect with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to explore academic and professional tracks.
Participants will gain hands-on experience with CPR and AED certification, research training, suturing, and general first aid. The program also includes 5 hours of leadership development, 5 hours of community service, and 20 hours of practical medical training. Students will be equipped with scrubs, and a stethoscope. They will participate in dissection activities throughout the week. Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony at 2:00 PM on Friday.

What does it look like?
The Camp runs from June 16-20 for students who have completed grades 6-9. The cost is $500 per camper. The camp operates formally from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Students will receive practical training as well as a planned academic path moving through high school.
