Looking for a way to help your student unplug from electronics and reconnect with nature? Join us at WSCS for Farm Camp, happening July 21st–25th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Led by experienced rancher Mr. Johnny Montoya, this camp offers a unique opportunity for students to learn the essentials of caring for farm animals, growing plants, and much more—all from a Christian perspective. Students will not only tend to the animals on the WSCS campus but will also gain valuable insights through field trips and guest speakers. It’s an unforgettable hands-on experience!
What does it look like?
Each day at camp offers unique opportunities to learn about animals and how to care for them properly. You’ll discover not only the basics of animal care but also how to groom them, maintain their environments, and provide love and companionship. Whether you’re learning how to care for a dog or manage a whole herd, this camp will equip you with all the skills you need to continue your journey in animal care. Taking care of and building a bond with animals has never been so accessible and rewarding.
