What is Semantics?
Semantics is using logic to determine the meaning of words in context. Semantics can be key to seeing past what a person is saying, and understanding what they mean by that.
When having a discussion with somebody, it is easy to ask clarifying questions. However when reading information, watching a video, or another impersonal form of communication there will always be a need for clarity in wording. Semantics helps to define words that can be misconstrued, or misunderstood.
Clarity of meaning is vital for statements of belief, and polity, therefore we have sought to define words that can be confusing, or have multiple definitions depending on the context in which they are used.
